Hawaii Science and Environment: Listing Submission Guidelines

Please list websites containing information about the human and natural environments and scientific activities specific to Hawaii. This category is also for scientific or environmental organization or issue specific Hawaii websites.

1. Sites of primarily topical appeal may be best listed at the appropriate subcategory under Top: Science. However, due to some sites geographical scope, it is appropriate to list relevant sites in both Top: Science and Hawaii Science and Environment or the relevant locality Science and Environment category. The informational component of business or firm sites that contain substantial information on its Hawaii scientific or environmental topic may be listed in Hawaii Science and Environment.

2. Please do not deeplink, list interior website pages, unless the deeplink has substantial, original, relevant Hawaii specific content.

3. Those sites with relevant statewide content are listed in the appropriate subcategory. Local sites judged to be of broad topical interest are also be listed. If an appropriate topical subcategory does not exist, the site may be listed in the next higher category within Hawaii Science and Environment.
