Apple - Mmmmmm, white plastic, infra red mice, translucent cases. Good for Photoshop too, and better battery life than PCs.
BBC News | Front Page - The pictures aren't great (mostly a bad selection from newswires), the news is rarely in any depth, occasionally inaccurate, but for all its faults this is the best world news site out there.
Blinkenlights - Interactive light installation by Chaos Computer Club on the Haus des Lehrers building in Berlin. Play Pong and do your own animations on a 13 story building.
CIA World Factbook 2001 - Always nice to know how poor a country is before you visit, and how many soldiers it has.
Guardian Unlimited - I don't always agree with their politics, but they often have great reporting and features on interesting subjects.
Ha'aretz - English - Almost unbiased and timely news and features from the intifada
J D Perkins - My portfoilo site from Europe and the Middle East
Lightstalkers - Discussion board, contacts list (with maps), list of resources. A lot of friends seem to have found out about this before me.
Magnum Photos - Latest pics from Magnum on a range of subjects
Network Photographers - Network Photographers - Flash site featuring work by Gideon Mendel, Homer Sykes, Tim Heatherington and more, on Africa, piracy, AIDS, Southeast Asia, South American, USA, UK, Russia
World press photo - The award everyone wants. Sometimes it goes to weird stuff and you can't see why, but generally, this is the best in photojournalism.
