These are the sites that list lots of other Hero System sites. I try to monitor them to keep the Open Directory Hero System category up to date.
This is a JavaScript program to create or maintain a category of @links to many other categories. Type the name of the category to create the @links in in the first, one line, text field, and the names of the categories to look in to find categories to @link to in the second, multiple line, text area. If any of the categories involved has an alphabet bar, the tool will descend into it.For example - if you want the alphabar in Arts/Literature/Authors/ to contain @links to all the author categories in Arts/Literature/Authors/Horror alphabet bar and the Arts/Literature/Genres/Mystery/Authors/ top level type "Arts/Literature/Authors" in the first box, and "Arts/Literature/Authors/Horror Arts/Literature/Genres/Mystery/Authors" in the second box. Then hit the Submit button, and stand back. If at any point smoke comes out of your computer, call the fire department.

This is a JavaScript program to list all the editors editing in or below a particular category tree. You can then send them all multiple editor feedback with another tool, for example. To use, enter the category name below in slash-separated format (copying from the URL usually works), then the depth to descend in the next box, hit the button, and stand back. A separate window will pop up, and descend the category tree, parsing editor names. Don't click on that window until it closes by itself or the program will be screwed up. You can click on the original form window, if you want to watch the names get filled in the large text area below.George Ruban, Dec 1999.
This is a JavaScript program to send Editor Feedback from an ODP editor to multiple ODP editors. To use, enter the list of editors in the editors list field, separated by spaces, commas, and/or newlines, as is convenient. "spock netesq, timmaroney, galahad tnt" works, for example. The "CC Me" and "CC Staff" radio buttons will only send one copy of this mail total, not one per editor mailed to. Fill in the other fields above the line as usual, hit the "Submit" button, and stand back. A separate window will pop up and start sending the mails one at a time. Don't click on that window until it closes by itself or the program will be screwed up. You can click on the original form window, if you want to watch the names get filled in the text areas below, as each mail succeeds or fails.
