• CDDTool - There is a lot of people working on CustomDebian Distributions, but it seems that everyone is reinventing the wheel to do it.
• Customizing Debian - There are more than 115 distros derived from Debian. By Benjamin Mako Hill.
• DebianCustomCD - Describes the steps used to create a custom debian install cd using a partial mirror mostly gathered from a prototype system's apt cache. The intructions here assume i386 but should work for any architecture simply by replacing i386 in the instructions with the architecture of your choice.
• DebianInstallerModify - DebianInstaller itself is based on udebs. Many of those udebs are on the CD, but some of them are in an initrd. If you want to modify the udeb's in the initrd, then you should follow the instructions in the custom-kernel.txt file in the installer/doc directory.
• Debian-Kernel-Compile-Howto - FalkoTimme.com - This site is mainly dedicated to the Linux OS. It has the following to offer: Linux HOWTOs and Tutorials, Linux News, Linux Support, an overview over my projects, etc.
• Digby - The install is performed with the following files: preseed, install script, digby tarballl.
• Hacking the debian-installer ISO image - This document intends to provide a simple guide for hacking the debian-installer ISO image without learning how the official debian-installer ISO images are made. This should provide you with skills on making small modification or debugging on the debian-installer
• iBuild: LiveCD - a program that allows you to quickly and easily create your own custom GNU/Linux LiveCD Distribution. A LiveCD allows you to run linux from the CD-ROM without having to install it on the computer's hard drive.
• ReleaseCDDs - Debian becomes interesting for specialized users with different interests. To support these different users the Custom Debian Distributions (see CustomDebian) effort was started.
