These are sites that I, as a Catholic priest, have found useful and edifying.
These sites deal with some of my favorite legends, from swashbuckling heroes of days gone by (such as Robin Hood and Zorro) to more recent (and less reliable) urban legends.
P.G. Wodehouse is my favorite author and is the only author I have ever read who can make me laugh out loud. He created memorable fictional characters such as Jeeves and Wooster, Mr. Mulliner, Stanley Featherstonehaugh Ukridge, Uncle Fred, and Rupert Psmith. His is an innocent world, free of the turmoils and troubles we experience all too often. Every story has a happy ending. His admirers included Evelyn Waugh, Hillaire Belloc, George Orwell, Malcolm Muggeridge, and T.S. Eliot.
I am a recently-licensed ham radio operator (KD5UFN), and I have listened to shortwave radio for some years. These are some useful sites having to do with ham and shortwave radio.
