The Catalan Countries is a nation located in the West of Europe. It covers all the Mediterranian East coastal side of the Iberian Peninsula.Its territory correspond to the the old Kingdom of Catalonia-Aragon. Its population is united by their language, culture, history and traditions. Actually the Catalan Countries territory covers 3 countries: Andorra, Spain and France.
Those countries (autonomous countries inside the Kingdom of Catalonia, actually a mix of autonomic regions, countries or provinces) are: Catalonia, Valencian Country, Balearic Islands, Andorra, and Rousillon.
Its main national symbol are the 4 red stripes, that could be found in all the shields and flags all arround the Catalan Countries and its old Middle-Age dominations.
