| Since this is a bookmark catagory, I'm not sure wheter you can submit anything here. Frankly, I don't know why you would want to anyway. If for some reason you would like me either to place a bookmark here, simply provied the URL and it will be looked at. |
Personal Domains usualy do not serve any purpose other than to collect one's individual sites and put them into a nice looking container. Because of this, personal domains can sometimes not be as useful to the ODP if there are other URLs leading to more spicific information. Still, people who go through the trouble to pay for a domain by themselves often produce higher quality sites than people who resign themselves to Geocities and the like. Since DMOZ is about the quality of content, it really couldn't care less about the quality of the presentation. This is of course important, because these things really shouldn't matter when you are creating an objective database. My bookmarks, however, are not objective, and this means that I can use this space to spotlight sites I believe to be one above the rest in terms of creation and content.
