Paint By Numbers puzzles are a popular type of logic puzzle consisting of a grid with a list of numbers next to each row and column. The numbers next to each row or column are used to determine how to mark the squares in the grid. When completed, the marked squares will form a picture. These puzzles are known under many different names, such as "Japanese Puzzles," "Japanese Crosswords," "Nonograms," and "Tsunami Puzzles."
