    1975-1979 American television show about two police detectives in Bay City, California (a thinly fictionalized version of Los Angeles) who fought street crime in their red and white striped Ford Gran Torino. David Soul played Kenneth Hutchinson, the blond sophisticate, Paul Michael Glaser played David Starsky, the dark, wild one, Bernie Hamilton played their boss, Captain Dobey, Antonio Fargas played Huggy Bear, their usual informant.
