THIS CATEGORY IS NOT FOR SINGLE ARTIST SITES, EVEN IF YOU CALL IT A GALLERY.
When submitting your site, please title it with the actual title of your site, or with the name of your gallery. For general guidelines about submitting sites anywhere in Arts/Photography, please see the Arts/Photography description.
If you are offering photographic art for sale online, please submit your site to the appropriate category in Shopping/Visual_Arts/Photography/Galleries. Such sites will NOT be listed in Arts/Photography. Virtual galleries which do not focus on photography and also feature other forms of visual arts (i.e. paintings, drawings, sculptures) should submit their site to a subcategory of Arts/Visual_Arts/Galleries/Virtual. Sites displaying solely the work of an individual artist should be submitted to an appropriate subcategory of Arts/Photography/Photographers. If your site is not in English, please submit it to the proper language category in World. |
The 'Virtual' subcategory of art galleries is for art galleries which focus on photography, and which only exist online as a "Virtual Gallery", not being associated with a physical location. An art gallery typically works with and organizes exhibits for several artists.
In order to be listed in this category you should
- exhibit original works made by more than one artist.
- NOT sell photographs online.
This is NOT a category for single artist sites... even if you call it a gallery.
