Joanne Whalley - English actress, born 25th August 1964, Salford, Manchester.

After appearing in British soap operas, her first film role, was as one of the groupies chasing after rock star Bob Geldof in the musical 'Pink Floyd: The Wall' (1982).

Other film roles include 'Willow' (1988), and 'Trial by Jury' (1994).

TV roles include 'A Kind of Loving' (1982), 'Edge of Darkness' (1986), and stepping into Vivien Leigh's shoes as Scarlett O'Hara in the miniseries 'Scarlett' (1994).

Joanne was married to Val Kilmer from 1988-1996, during which time she was sometimes credited as Joanne Whalley-Kilmer.
