Sarah Michelle Gellar (*1977 in New York, NY) is an American actress, known best from TV films and series.She started her career as a child actress in 1983 as Jennifer Bianchi in TV film "An Invasion of Privacy". After a stint on the soap opera All My Children (1993), she moved on to her best known role as Buffy Summers in TV series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (1997) and "Angel" (1999-2000). Her other famous appearances include Helen Shivers in "I Know What You Did Last Summer" (1997), Amanda Shelton in "Simply Irresistible" (1998), Kathryn Merteuil in "Cruel Intentions" (1999), and Daphne Blake in the "Scooby Doo" (2002) movie series.
