This category houses both professional and fan pages devoted to the American actres and singer Diahann Carroll. Born in New York, USA in July 1935, the early part of her career revolved around nightclub singing, and between 1952-53 she worked regularly at The Latin Quarter, Cafe Society Downtown in New York. Her film appearances include "Carmen Jones" (1954) and "Porgy and Bess" (1959), and more recently, she has starred in the US soap operas "Dynasty" and "Dallas," as well as the 1994 miniseries "Lonsome Dove".
