This category houses both professional and fan pages dedicated to the French actress Leslie Caron. Caron has enjoyed a distinguished career in the cinema, starring alongside Gene Kelly in the Oscar winning 1951 production "An American in Paris," as well as securing the lead role in the 1958 movie "Gigi." While she continues to make occasional film appearances (most recently in the 2000 release "Chocolat"), the bulk of Caron's attention is devoted to the management of her restaurant in the French town of Villeneuve-sur-l'Yonne. She was born in Paris in France, in July 1931.
