American actor Alexis Bledel (1982-) takes on the starring role of Winnie Foster in Walt Disney Pictures' "Tuck Everlasting". Audiences will, however, recognize Bledel from the small screen where she portrays Rory Gilmore in "Gilmore Girls". Bledel was honored for her work on "Gilmore Girls" with the 2001 Young Artist Award for best leading young actress in a drama series.
