Alice Krige - actress, born 28 June 1954, Upington, South Africa. She moved to England aged 22, and studied at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London.

TV roles include 'A Tale of Two Cities' (1980), and film roles include Chariots of Fire (1981).

She also spent three years working with the prestigious Royal Shakespeare Company.
