It's hard to classify the music performed by concert/symphonic bands and wind ensembles. However, many would consider these to be 'classical' organizations for lack of a better term. All groups - professional, military, amateur - are welcome here.

A symphonic wind band, symphonic winds, wind symphony or wind band generally consists of similar instrumentation to a concert band, but with normally only one player per part.
A wind ensemble is any group composed of only wind instruments, with usually one player per part and possibly percussion and/or keyboard instruments.
