Mixed choirs are SATB choirs (divided into Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass). The general Mixed Choirs category is meant primarilly for classical Symphonic or Oratorio choirs of 30-40 singers or more.Smaller choirs, performing mainly chamber music, belong to the Chamber Choir category. Special categories exist for mixed choirs singing gospel or a cappella music.
