Submit any site containing information of interest to Euphonium players to this category. Additional subcategories will be added as needed to accomodate unusual sites, but at this time, it is requested that all web pages be submitted to the main category for simplicity, and that the author's allow the editors to choose the appropriate subcategory.
The Euphonium is a low brass instrument which looks a great deal like a small tuba (and indeed can be described as a tenor tuba), playing in the same range as the Trombone, one octave above Tuba and one below Cornet. It is, perhaps, the primary tenor solo voice on the Concert and Military Band, and has a dark, mellow sound unlike any other instrument. Euphoniums are often confused with the Baritone Horn, but the two are different, and there are several articles available that touch the rather controversial subject of just how they are different.
