The most famous of Paganini's compositions, these caprices also provided ample material for later composers to write various transcriptions. Of these pieces, Number 24 is the single most often used, including Rachmaninov's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini for piano and orchestra and Brahms' Variations on a Theme of Paganini for piano.
