John Dickson, born in Big Spring, Texas, is a Hollywood-based composer and arranger working in the areas of film and television music. His credits include more than sixty films and TV shows. He wrote for such artists as Billy Joel, Barbra Streisand, Elton John, and Alanis Morrisette, became Chick Corea's orchestrator and rehearsal assistant in 1995, and has performed with, among others, Natalie Cole, David Foster, Ray Charles, Alanis Morrisette, Wynonna Judd, Shirley Horn, Harry Connick, Jr., Lionel Richie, Selena, and Chick Corea.
