Keyboardist Vince Welnick was a long-term member of The Tubes and joined the Grateful Dead in 1990. Following Garcia's death in 1995, Welnick formed the Missing Man Formation. He's worked with numerous bands and artists and is currently working with the Mickey Hart Band.
