Eddi (Sadenia) Reader, British folk singer songwriter, was born and spent her formative years in Glasgow.
She formed Fairground Attraction in 1988 with song-writer and guitarist Mark E. Nevin, producing one album, and its hit single 'Perfect'.
Since then she has produced several alums as a solo artist, including 'Patience of Angels', which won her a Brit award for "Best British Female" in February 1995.
Her brother Frank (Francis) Reader is lead singer of the Scottish band Trash Can Sinatras.
