Solo ambient project of former :zoviet*france: front man Robin Storey. Rapoon has released well over 40 albums since the debut "Dream Circle" (1992), and has created loop libraries for the popular ACID platform. Rapoon is characterized by dense, repeating textures of ethnic-ambient sounds, most of which were originally performed by Storey on sitar, flute, percussion, and primitive string instruments. The music is generally categorized as Ambient, though it sometimes is seen as New Age, Experimental, and even Industrial. See also :zoviet-france:, Horizon 222, O Yuki Conjugate, and Ingleton Falls.
