Cosima De Vito is an Australian singer who launched her career as a contestant on Australian Idol 2003. She was placed third in the competition after withdrawing in the final weeks with a throat condition. Her first single "When the War is Over" was released in August 2004, followed by a self-titled album "Cosima" released in October 2004 which debuted at number 2 on the ARIA charts.
