An American film from 1990 documenting a drag culture of black and hispanic gay men in Harlem during the mid-1980s. Directed by Jennie Livingston, this work includes interviews as well as footage of actual drag balls. Looks at the origins of "voguing" and issues of identity, roles, image, and "realness."
