Finnish authors, past and present.
Tove Jansson (1914-2001) was a Swedish-Finnish writer and artist best known for her Moomin books. She also wrote novels for adults, and worked as a cartoonist and illustrator.
Finland's national writer Aleksis Kivi (Alexis Stenvall, 1834-1872) was a playwright, poet and novelist.
