Sirius Black is a fictional character in the Harry Potter Books. He is Harry Potter's godfather and a wrongly convicted criminal on the run from the law. Sirius' greatest talent is the ability to transform himself into a large black dog. In this form he is affectionally called Padfoot by his friends.
