This dragon category is intended for (although not limited to) sites including fansites, community, art, sculpture, fantasy, books, resources, fiction, non-fiction, history, legend, and mythology. Sites may be a mix of content, combining fiction and non-fiction. For art or artists who specialize on the subject of dragons, please submit the site to the dragon art subcategory. If your site doesn't meet the above criteria, and is submitted here anyway, inclusion in the directory can be delayed by the sorting process. Please try to find the most specific category for your site before submitting. Dragons are not unlike lizards, and range roughly in size from tiny to gigantic. Of the various versions of dragons, they may also be quite humanoid. Some dragons fly, some dragons swim, and some do neither. Though their hides are often considered to be covered in scales, tales and art have depicted them with hair, fur, feathers, or leathery skin. The colours of dragons in fantasy and mythology have been any and every colour and combination.
