This is a listing for the original animated cartoon from Jay Ward Studios.Rocky and Bullwinkle has gone through several different titles:
"Rocky and His Friends" (1959-61) aka: "The Adventures of Bullwinkle and Rocky"
"The Bullwinkle Show" (1961-64) aka: "The Adventures of Bullwinkle and Rocky"
When Buena Vista released the video series for these cartoons, the title became: "The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle". Today, this is title by which the series is most commonly known. However, Cartoon Network has shortened the title to simply "Rocky & Bullwinkle", which is why this category is currently named thusly.
Produced by DePatie-Freleng for theatrical release in 1968. Roland and Rattfink was based on the idea of good versus evil. The series paired Roland, a blond, good-looking upholder of justice, against Rattfink, that all-around sleazy, dastardly, good-for-nothing bad guy who always seems to be on the wrong side of the law.
