Sakamoto Maaya is the seiyuu (voice actor) for many anime characters, including: Leaf (Record of Lodoss War TV), Kauru (El Hazard) and Hitomi (Vision of Escaflowne). She is very young for a seiyuu, debuting as the lead in Vision of Escaflowne at sixteen. She is also well known for her singing ability and has released many albums.
